I'm so excited today to see the Ancho peppers today in the greenhouse and I brought a few to the store for you. They look great and I'm salivating just thinking about how they tasted on the grill last year. You can grill them as is and then scoop out the seeds, or take tops and seeds off before grilling. They are the traditional chili relleno peppers. Get them while they're hot!
We are getting ready for Lodi's first art walk of the season. May 4th from 5-9 p.m. Sunfall is open and hosting two local artists. Kipp Inglis will be demonstrating felted wool techniques and Carol Horstmann Becker will be creating her unique, classy and beautiful beaded jewelry. Both artists will be above our store in our newly renovated space. Other shops in town are open and Dean Allen Studios is also hosting musician Ed Hall. Ed will also be playing at The Grotta Wine Bar after 9 p.m.
Sunfall on Main is gearing up for the Lodi Valley Farmers Market April 27th. This is the first market of the season and we will have pansies, herbs, flowers and heirloom vegetables there to greet you. Rain or shine, but if its a monsoon, see you downtown Lodi in our store!
April 15th. More fun than tax deadlines, the antique appraisal fair at the Jolivette House this Sunday in Lodi should be very fun. Spectators welcome.
